What is a VPN?

A VPN (or Virtual Private Network) is a service that allows you to connect to the server by the means of an encrypted and secure tunnel.

Why is AgCompass requiring me to log in through the VPN?

Our top priority is the security of the software and data that you use on AgCompass.  By implementing VPN access we can provide enhanced protection for all of our customers.
What if I log in to AgCompass from multiple devices? 

For each device (computer, phone, tablet) you will need to repeat the VPN setup process so that all devices use the VPN to connect to AgCompass.
How long does VPN setup take? 

Typically, setup takes 15 or 20 minutes for the first device.  We can assist with other devices, or you can repeat the process on your own with our step-by-step instructions.
Will I be using the VPN when I log in to sites or accounts on the internet?

No.  The VPN connection for AgCompass points only to the AgCompass server and is not used to connect to any other sites or portals. 
I already use a VPN; can I use my existing VPN to connect to AgCompass?

No.  The GlobalConnect VPN is used solely to connect to the AgCompass server and it will not impact or affect your current VPN in any way.
